The traditional Greek Cypriot BBQ’s cook food by rotating on skewers and these are known as souvla or souvlaki. They are perfect for cooking chickens, joints of lamb or pork and kebabs of meat and/or vegetables. In Cyprus almost every household owns a traditional barbecue and it is not common for families to cook their food on these several times a week. The skewers are rotated by a motor which runs either with batteries or main power. This motor grill ensures fast rotation, homogeneous and tender grilling of the meat.
